After the race the stewards handed Petrov a 5 place grid penalty for the Indian Grand Prix.	16

In the collision, Rosberg had knocked off his front wing which became jammed under the font wheels forcing Rosberg to stop on track. Rosberg was summoned to a stewards meeting to investigate. However, Rosberg turned up late and was duly fined for his late arrival. The fine was 10,000 euros of which 5,000 was suspended for 12 months.
