Barrichello, Rubens (Williams)	7 pts	Barrichello ran into Maldonado in the first corner, setting off a chain reaction. Maldonado, shoved by Barrichello, pushed wide Kobayashi who went off the track. As he rejoined, he did so into the path of Glock who had no where to go. Barrichello lost the nose of his car and had to pit directly. Glock retired after the team realized the extent of the damage.	1

Massa, Felipe (Ferrari)	4 pts	In a reversal of events, Massa and Hamilton had a collision where it was Massa fault. Hamilton, ever on the attack, attacked Massa in the non-overtaking place of turn 5. As Hamilton approached Massa up the inside, checked his mirrors and turned in on Hamilton. The stewards judged that Massa had been aware of Hamilton and had turned in anyway. Hamilton had tried to brake to get himself out of the way but it was not enough to avoid the collision. Hamilton had a damaged front wing and was force to repair it in the pits. Massa received a drive through penalty.	24

He cut the corner too much and fell foul of the anti-cutting kerb which shattered his suspension. Massa ended up in the gravel and they yellow flags went out.
Kobayashi, Kamui (Sauber)	5 pts	Kobayashi blamed Massa for slowing him down on his last run. Kobayashi described Massa as “traffic” to reporters citing this as the reason why he did not progress to Q2.
