As he rejoined, he did so into the path of Glock who had no where to go. Barrichello lost the nose of his car and had to pit directly. Glock retired after the team realized the extent of the damage. |

As Hamilton approached Massa up the inside, checked his mirrors and turned in on Hamilton. The stewards judged that Massa had been aware of Hamilton and had turned in anyway. Hamilton had tried to brake to get himself out of the way but it was not enough to avoid the collision. Hamilton had a damaged front wing and was force to repair it in the pits. Massa received a drive through penalty. |
