Schumacher attacked up the inside but a combination of a damp track and over excitement Schumacher slid into Kobayashi. Schumacher had to return to the pits for a new nose and later had to return to the pits again for a stop go penalty.	10

Force India	5 pts	Di Resta’s first stop of the day was a a good one except for the fact his team put his teammates tyres on his car. In a case of coming in too early or the team not being able to read whoâ€™s tyres were for who, Di Resta none the less received the wrong tyres on his car causing significant delay in the pits while the mess was corrected.	25
di Resta, Paul (Force India)	8 pts	Following a disastrous pit stop the rookie Scot was keen to make up time against the pack, in the process he made contact with Buemi. The result of this was a smash nose on the Force India and a punctured left rear tyre for Buemi. Buemi was forced to retire from the race with the damage to the car too much to continue back to the pits.	27
Red Bull Racing	5 pts	Vettel, pitting from the lead, had a very bad stop with the left rear tyre refusing to cooperate. Vettel returned to the track in 3rd.	28
McLaren	10 pts	Button was allowed to leave the pits before the front right wheel nut was correctly attached. As Button left the wheel almost detached itself a number of times and Button decided it would be better to pull over on the exit of the pits. The team were investigated for an unsafe pit release, which it was, but there was no one left to punish.	40
Hamilton, Lewis (McLaren)	3 pts	Muscled his was past Massa in the final laps. Hamilton approached on the inside and gently thumped his way past Massa, Massa won out only to run wide two corners later allowing Hamilton to pass anyway.	52
Red Bull Racing	5 pts	With Webber catching Vettel and threatening Vettel’s 2nd place, Redbull pulls rank. Horner told Webber to “…maintain the gap” which is a nice way of saying donâ€™t overtake.	52
Qualifying
Alonso, Fernando (Ferrari)	1 pts	Alonso slid off the track on the entrance to Luffield early in qualifying but managed to recover.
Practice
Buemi, Sebastien (Scuderia Toro Rosso)	1 pts	Locked up in the run up to Vale and ended up in the gravel. Buemi was able to turn into the new pit entrance to rescue his session.
Kobayashi, Kamui (Sauber)	5 pts	Kobayashi ran wide coming out of Club and crashed. In FP1, Kobayashi was in do or die mode (the only mode he has) when he ran wide in Club, staying flat on the gas and running along the curb, the back suddenly stepped out and Kobayashi span and made heavy contact with the tyre wall.
Webber, Mark (Red Bull Racing)	10 pts	Ran out of fuel and had to pull off the track. It seemed from the radio communication that this out of fuel moment might well have been deliberate.
