Starting near the back, Liuzzi slide fast down the grass and impacted with the cars in the mid field. He made contact with Petrov who in turn hit Rosberg. All three were out of the race and several other drivers were forced take avoiding action. In order to clean up the damage the Safety Car was brought out and for Singapore, Liuzzi received a 5 place grid penalty |
