The collision came as the gap, which Kobayashi was expecting, closed between both Button and Rosberg. Kobayashi collided with the back of Button and bounced into Rosberg. The collision broke the radiators on Rosberg’s Mercedes which caused and instant retirement. Kobayashi, not done with Button, collided with the Englishman’s front wheel almost ripping it off. Button commented on his team radio “what an idiot!”. Kobayashi, who carried on driving, was handed a drive through penalty for causing a collision.	1
