5 pts | Pacific turned up to their first Grand Prix with a car that had never tuned a wheel. The car was beset with massive under steer and the chassis of Paul Belmondo’s car cracked, allowing one of the suspension pick-up points to pull out of the monocoque. As there was no way that the car could be repaired away from the teams head quarters Belmondo had to withdraw leaving his team-mate Bertrand Gachot to take Pacific’s first grand Prix start. |
